Spay/Neuter:

The WAHS spays and neuters on average 1200 pets a year. We offer two cat spay days monthly. In warmer months we have additional spots open for feral cats. We release our cat spay days the end of each month. Currently October dates are full. Check back end of month at this page to see available dates.

Pet Eligibility for Spay/Neuter:

  • Weights at least 2 pounds
  • Be at least 8 weeks of age
  • Passes veterinarian check-up
  • Must not be sick or in heat
  • Feral cats MUST arrive in a trap. No boxes, carriers, or other containers will be accepted.

Cat Trap Rental:

Cat traps are available for rent for a $50 deposit.  Your deposit will be refunded upon the return of the trap.  We require cat traps to be returned in a timely manner and only used for humane purposes.  To request a rental, please call the front desk at 724-222-738

Owned Cats: $45
Includes  Basic Exam, Spay or Neuter, Pain Medication, FVRCP vaccine, Rabies 1 Year Vaccine, Nail Trim, E-collar, Flea Medication (30 day dose), Ear Mite Treatment if needed.

Feral Cats: $45
Includes  Basic Exam, Ear Tip, Spay or Neuter, Pain Medication, FVRCP vaccine, Rabies 1 Year Vaccine, Nail Trim Flea Medication (30 day dose), Ear Mite Treatment if needed.
