We adopted “Sandy” in March of 2008 as a puppy. I don’t remember what her name was at the shelter, but we named her “Sandy” because of her color reminding us of the sand on the beach… her full name is actually “Sandy Beach”. She looks exactly like one of the dogs that you currently have in the shelter… “Trista”. They could be twins!! “Sandy” is doing great and gets along very well with our Chihuahua and our Chihuahua/Maltese mix. She actually thinks she is a little as they are! She is GREAT with kids and loves to run and play tug… although she hates the thought of going in the swimming pool.
