Reading Tails
The Reading Tails Program is a program designed to assist children in developing and improving their reading skills while also helping the WAHS shelter cats by providing socialization and human interaction.
- Available to children 6-12 years old
- This program is designed for children and accompanying parents/guardians. Please plan to attend and be engaged with your child in this program. Drop-offs will not be permitted.

Field Trips & Tours
Do you have a group that is passionate about animals? During this half-hour long field trip or tour, your group will learn more about the Washington Area Humane Society, go on a behind the scenes tour of the WAHS, and meet an adoptable animal.
