Ripley is a very pretty, mostly happy and often a downright adorable mutt. She
had puppies when she arrived at the shelter and all the pups were
adopted leaving mother Ripley behind and without a home.
Ripley has such a winning disposition beneath her frustration from
being caged for so long. At only about 2 years old, she would make a great
companion for a family.

Ripley Wonders: It's been a year.... Why am I still here? I keep
getting passed up and overlooked when people come to see the dogs
here. My friends at the shelter think I am beautiful, so why haven't
I been picked? Perhaps it is because I bark and jump in my cage. But
you see, I have been here so long that I just want to get your
attention and for you take take me outside. This April marks my one
year "anniversary" at the shelter. But I am not celebrating! Even
though I've been here a year now, I am still optimistic and will
happily accompany anyone who walks me. I will walk gently by your
side. I am affectionate and fun. I may not like most dogs, but I
don't mind cats at all! Some of my friends at the shelter think I am
mostly housebroken, too. I've been here so long.... yearning for a
forever home and a family to love. Won't you come see me?
