Louie was brought to the shelter by a good Samaritan and he was very
lucky to have crossed paths with her. This little guy was infested
with ticks when he first arrived and he patiently and cooperatively
let the vet techs remove them all. Afterwards he developed an
infection from all the bites, but was treated and is good as new.
Louie is absolutely adorable, but
this sweet beagle mix is not thrilled about shelter life. When you
come to visit, you'll most likely find Louie curled up on his dog
bed with sad eyes. He comes to life when going for a walk or with
any human attention. He loves people, and he's an all around
sweetheart! Hopefully, this calm and friendly guy won't have to
spend too many more days at the shelter. He's more than ready to go
home with a loving family.
