Free Feral Free Fur-All
Some cats at our shelter have not been properly
socialized with humans and are very difficult to place. Instead of
confining them to cages, we offer these cats for free to caring people
to make a better life for them. Adopters are to provide food, shelter
and vet care when necessary. WAHS will provide
rabies, distemper and feline leukemia vaccinations to your
cat for the duration of your pairing.

Stretch is one of our
long timers at the shelter. She has been with us
almost a year. She is a quiet cat who is extremely
neat and tidy. She is looking for a calm home to
call her own. She would get along with a low key
dog, as well as a cat with similar traits. A shelter
employee took her home for a couple of days to find
her true personality. When she was alone or with
another cat she was extremely loving, purring at the
drop of a hat. Although this employee wanted to keep
Stretch in the worst way, she knew that her home
wasn’t the right fit. If you could provide a nice
quiet home for Stretch with a great window for her
to look out of please come to the shelter and meet
her.
